** An update for 2026 **
Hello and welcome to CK Knife and Tool.
For those that are new to me and my knives, My name is Chad and I started my journey of knife making 12 years ago as a simple hobbyist and to keep myself busy while being a stay-at-home dad and homeschooler of two amazing children. What was something as simple as that intention blossomed into a social media personality and custom knife company.
Many of you have followed me these past years, you have been with my family and I for all the ups and downs one's life could encompass, i.e. COVID, moving to a new state, surgeries and the loss of my son Ben. You all have been their with me and gave support in all fashions. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart... Thank you.
Sadly, as I type this update it is Oct. 13th and I have more sad news. I am no longer with Bunker Branding Co. and therefore do not have an apparel line or a way to fulfill orders. It was nice to be part of BBco but with new ownership and management, it was felt that me and my company weren't meeting the new standards of BBco and so on Oct. 12th 2026 I was no longer in the family. As sad as this is to close just another chapter in my life I have more news. I am no longer making knives for the foreseeable future. I had thought that after my surgery in May and having some time to heal, I could get back at making knives. This is not the case.
By now the viedo on my YouTube channel is or has posted regarding my current situation but I thought I'd leave a heartfelt thank you and update. It seems I had re-injured my arm and in the middle of doing so I had also been diagnosed with a pretty decent shoulder injury. I cannot make knives now and I am slated for surgery at the end of the year which, from what I am told will take me well into the middle of 2027. So, I sit hear and edit my site and reminisces on all the fond memories and all those that have become part of the CK Knife and Tool Family. The company slogan of "Making Knives, Friends and Memories" has never held a more deeper meaning than now.
So, to all the "family" out there, thank you. This 12 years was never possible without the support of each and everyone of you. No matter the size of the knife or the quantity the order, you all filled my heart and helped me do this.
Perhaps when this is all said and done, I will see some of you out on the trail or at an overlanding event. Until then, any updates and random thoughts will still be posted up on YouTube and the other socials. So, if you find yourself unable to sleep or that counting sheep doesn't help, turn my channel on and get some winks. Your welcome ;)

I'm a U.S. Marine Veteran and a former Law Enforcement Officer. I began making knives back in 2014 when my good friend and mentor, Jeff Conti first walked me through the process. After my first knife, it just went crazy. Knife after knife I just kept making, practicing and designing. Staying true to what I was taught, "Form follows function", and to not get caught up in all the gimmicks and fads surrounding the knife world.
After almost 20 years living in Washington, my family and I left the Pacific Northwest and rooted ourselves here in Gillette, Wyoming. After spending most of 2021 moving and rebuilding CK Knife and Tool I now am in the process to become Wyoming's premier knife maker.
But besides making knives and running a successful YouTube channel, I have become an Ambassador for the Made in America Movement.
